Wedding Bartenders in Louisville and Southern Indiana
Your bar should feel like part of the wedding, not a folding table with a cooler behind it. Quality Barware runs wedding bars across Louisville, Jeffersonville, New Albany, Clarksville and the rest of Kentuckiana, from a simple beer and wine setup to a cocktail program built around the two of you.
I'm a working bartender and Certified Bourbon Steward. I plan the bar with you, staff it to your guest count, and run it from the first pour after the ceremony to last call. Every bartender on your event is an active, working bartender who practices the craft every day, not someone who stepped away from the industry or tends bar a few times a year.

The package you pick sets the level of service and planning, from a bartender running your setup to a cocktail program built from scratch.

Get a wedding bar quoteHow we plan your wedding bar
- Tell us the basics. Your date, venue, guest count and the kind of bar you want. A range is fine.
- Get a written quote. It spells out the package, the number of bartenders and the hours, so there are no surprises.
- Build the menu. We pick your signature cocktails together and make sure they can be poured quickly for a crowd.
- Sort out the alcohol. We build a shopping list around your guest count and menu, so you buy the right amount and nothing sits unopened in the garage. With Premier and Signature we can source it for you instead.
- Enjoy the night. We arrive early to set up, run the bar through the reception and clean up after last call.
Signature cocktails your guests will talk about
Most couples choose two signature drinks, one lighter and one stronger, alongside beer and wine. We help you turn the drinks you love into recipes that work for 150 people, and we can name them, put them on a menu sign and match the garnish to your colors. Need ideas first? Browse the cocktail menu examples. Need signage? Our wedding bar templates are made by a working bartender.
Wedding bar questions
How much does a wedding bartender cost in Louisville?
It depends on your guest count, hours, how many bartenders you need and the package. Our Louisville cost guide walks through typical ranges, and the Bar Service Estimator gives you a range for your wedding in about a minute.
What do we need to bring?
For Pour and Full Bar weddings, the alcohol, from a shopping list we build for your guest count and menu so you buy the right amount. For Premier and Signature weddings we can source it for you and include it in your quote. We bring the bartenders and, depending on the package, the bar setup, ice, mixers, garnish and tools. Your venue or a rental covers the glassware unless you add ours.
How many bartenders do we need?
A common starting point is one bartender for every 50 or so guests, more for a full cocktail menu or a rush after the ceremony. We can staff anywhere from one to thirty bartenders. Larger teams need more lead time, so book early.
Do you bring glassware?
Glassware isn't part of the Pour or Full Bar packages. Most venues provide it, or you can rent it. Quality Barware glassware is available as an upgrade with the Premier Package, and custom glassware is part of the Signature Package.
How far ahead should we book?
As soon as you have a date and a venue. Spring and fall Saturdays fill first. If your date is close, ask anyway.
Who will be bartending our wedding?
Every bartender who works a Quality Barware event is an active, working bartender who practices the craft every day, not someone who stepped away from the industry or tends bar a few times a year. That daily practice shows in the speed, the consistency of the drinks and how calm the bar stays when the line gets long.
Where do you work?
Louisville and Southern Indiana, including Jeffersonville, New Albany and Clarksville, and anywhere within about 25 miles of Louisville. Farther out? Ask and we'll tell you what's possible.
