Private Bartending in Louisville · Serving Southern Indiana

Private bartending in Louisville and Southern Indiana

Four tiers, run by a working bartender.

Every package scales to your event. Fifty guests or three hundred, we staff the bar for your headcount, your hours and your menu, and put the bartender count on your written quote. The tier you pick sets the level of service, from a bartender running your setup to a cocktail program built from scratch, anywhere in Louisville, Southern Indiana and the surrounding area.

Every event is different. Tell us about yours and we'll send a written quote.

Every private bartending tier starts with the same thing: a real bartender who knows how to run a bar under real party conditions. From there, each tier adds more supplies, more planning and more polish. Guest count never decides your tier: a backyard party can book the Signature Package, and a 200 person wedding can book the Pour Package with four bartenders. You pick the level of service, and we staff it to your headcount.

"Hired two bartenders for our work holiday party on a basic package. We had over 200 people show up and these two handled it like it was nothing." Stephanie L., December 2024

How many bartenders you need

A good rule of thumb is 1 bartender for every 50 to 75 guests at a standard bar. Craft cocktails and rush moments, like toasts and dinner breaks, call for more. Our free bartender calculator does the math for your guest count and hours, and the event alcohol and glassware calculator tells you what to buy. Your bartender count always goes on your written quote.

Weddings, backyard parties and corporate events across Louisville and Southern Indiana. We keep the line moving, so you get to enjoy your own party.

Professionalism & Peace of Mind

When you hire Quality Barware, you get trained, reliable bartenders who take service seriously. We handle safe, responsible alcohol service, from monitoring consumption to preventing over-pouring, with guest safety always in mind.

You enjoy your own event, mingle with guests, and leave the bar logistics to us.

Drinks That Actually Taste Good

Our bartenders don’t just pour, they know what they’re making. Every cocktail (or mocktail) is built with real technique: balanced, properly mixed, and made to actually taste as good as it looks.

Whether it’s a signature drink for a wedding or a solid pour at a backyard party, the bar becomes something people remember, not just a table with bottles on it.

Stress-Free Setup, Service & Cleanup

From setup to breakdown, we handle the bar area so you don’t have to think about it. Ice, mixers, cups or glassware, whatever’s part of your package, we bring it, set it up, run it, and clean it up when the night’s over.

No late-night cleanup, no messy counters, no running out of ice at 9pm. We’ve got it handled.

Built Around Your Event, Not a Template

Whether you want classic drinks or creative signature cocktails, full-service bar setups or just a bartender, we adjust to your needs. We help you figure out quantities, match your theme, and cover both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options.

Want to go bigger? Premium glassware, a mocktail station, a custom cocktail or two, we can build that in based on your event and your guest list.

Running a bar or restaurant of your own? We also do beverage consulting, from cocktail development to staff training.

Local, Accountable, and Easy to Reach

We’re a mobile, bartender-owned team and work events all across Louisville and Southern Indiana, from backyard parties to weddings on either side of the river. We know the area, the venues, and the fact that Kentucky and Indiana don’t run alcohol service the same way, so nothing about your event catches us off guard.

We treat the bar as part of your event, not an afterthought. Clean presentation, real attention to service, and a setup that looks like it was actually planned.

Private bartending questions

Open bar, bar catering, pricing and what to expect, answered.

Do you offer open bar service in Louisville?

Yes. Our Full Bar, Premier and Signature packages are built for open bar events across Louisville and Southern Indiana. We bring the bartenders, bar setup, ice, mixers and garnish, then set up, run the bar all night and clean up. With Premier and Signature we can also source the alcohol for you. Glassware comes from your venue or a rental unless you add ours from the Premier Package up. Just need a bartender? The Pour Package puts one behind your bar.

Is this the same as bar catering?

Pretty much. Bar catering just means someone else handles the drinks so your caterer can focus on the food. We work alongside your caterer and your venue, so the bar is covered without adding to anyone's plate.

How much does a private bartender cost?

Every event is different. Tell us about yours and we'll send a written quote. It's built around your guest count, hours and the bar you want.

Do I need to supply the alcohol myself?

Not necessarily. Tell us what you have in mind when you request a quote and we'll plan the bar around it. With the Premier and Signature packages we can source the alcohol for you and include it in your quote.

What's actually included, and how do the four packages differ?

That's the point of having four instead of one. The Pour Package is bartender and know-how only. You've got the rest handled. The Signature Package is a fully built bar with a custom cocktail menu designed around your event. The two in between split the difference. Each package below lists exactly what shows up with us, so you're comparing real inclusions, not guessing from a name.

How far in advance should I book?

As early as you can, especially for wedding season, graduation season, and December. Those book out fast. If your date's coming up quickly, reach out anyway; we'll tell you straight whether it's doable instead of leaving you hanging.

How much ice do I need for a party?

For drinks alone, plan on about 1 to 1.5 pounds of ice per guest, and more on a hot day or a long cocktail hour. If you're also chilling bottles and cans, plan for more on top of that. Running out of ice is the fastest way to end a good party, so buy it last, keep it in coolers, and keep the drink ice separate from the cooling ice. Our free ice calculator does the math for your guest count.

Can you set up an outdoor bar, and do I need plastic cups?

Yes, we work outdoor events. Plan for shade, a sturdy level table, extra ice (it melts faster outside), and lights if the party runs past sunset. Pools, lawns and many venues don't allow glass. Clear, sturdy plastic cups in 2 sizes cover most bars: about 9 to 12oz for mixed drinks and a smaller cup for wine. Plan on about 2 to 3 cups per guest, because people set drinks down and grab a new one. If glass is allowed, ask us about glassware options.

Can you help with a self-serve bar, a keg or a drink urn?

Yes. Tell us how you'd like the party to run, and we'll plan the bar around it. A self-serve station works well for beer, wine and 1 batched drink. A bartender earns their keep on anything shaken or stirred, and on keeping the line moving. Many hosts do both: a self-serve beer and wine station plus a bartender for cocktails. Our free bartender calculator suggests staffing for your guest count.

Do we need to tip the bartender?

No. Your written quote lists everything, gratuity included, so you and your guests don't need to tip the bar.

Who will actually be behind my bar?

A working bartender who knows how to actually run one. Keep a line moving, read a room, make sure the person who's had enough gets cut off without a scene. That is the job, and it is the whole reason we do this.

Where do you serve?

We're based in Louisville and serve Louisville and Southern Indiana, including Jeffersonville, Clarksville and New Albany, within about 25 miles. Travel is available, so if your event is farther out, ask us.
